Revenue Split: Investors, 110% ($275,000 - 330,000) until Re-Coup of Principle,
After 110% Re-Coup, 50% of all Revenues after Re-Coup, 50% of incomes to Production Company
Incentives
a). Section 181 of the federal Tax code allows for a 100% write-off of investment in the year the investment is made, securing 40% of the investment for qualified investors.
b). Investors offered the option of first right of refusal investment in ‘Phase 2’, entailing a $2M feature, as well as two series packages for marketing.
c). Members in the production LLC will be given bi-weekly updates on the progress of pre-production, production and post. Input is welcomed.
Merits
a. LOVE LOST LONG ISLAND films on Long Island, 33 miles from Manhattan, giving production access to the New York talent base, crew and talent.
b. A low budget provides for a quick turnaround, and also a lower break-even, allowing opportunities with mid-market streaming platforms (see below)
c. Filming in New York, and marketing out of New York provides access to film distributors, and elevates the exposure of the production.

Section 181 of the Federal Tax Code allows an investor in a feature film a 100% write-off on the investment, in the same year as the investment occurs. An investment made in 2023, for example, can be written off on 2023 taxes. Section 181 has been extended to 2025. This information will be confirmed as condition of the investment.
Marketing

Revenues from LOVE LOST LONG ISLAND will come from the successful placement on one of the dozens of streaming platforms available on Smart TV’s and Smart devices.
There are three major types of streaming outlets --- Transactional Video on Demand (TVOD), Advertising Video on Demand (AVOD) and Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD).

PROJECTIONS
Streaming platforms do not publish the sale price for a particular project and in many cases require an NDA by the Production company on the specifics of the transaction, so presently there are no hard figures that are reliable.
In taking into consideration certain films which had similar parameters to LOVE LOST LONG ISLAND --- either in budget, a cast that was largely unknown at the time, and films geared toward relationship or rom-com stories --- here were some of the results:

Future Project
The long-ish term goal of LOVE LOST LONG ISLAND is as a launchpad to more ambitious projects. Waiting in the wings is another feature, ready to go, along with two series packages.
